I hope all readers have time to read the Christmas story of the original language of Dickens in 1840. Dickens' language is a funny, insightful and descriptive and not available to modern readers, in particular by using the right terminology. This is a great read-aloud for families at Christmas and an excellent introduction to Dickens and other Victorian writers. Do not settle for the excerpt. Read all of this masterpiece, the way it was intended, surrounded by a wonderful family time for a trip that finding life ..
