Now I've heard in all the David Sedaris audio book format, I can assure you that it is a pleasure that will keep you busy for hours with a maximum listening pleasure. Gay, coming from New York but grew up in North Carolina who now lives in France, an artist, a writer - a truly remarkable person - but what he does best is tell stories of their lives and family, high voice. I read one of his essays on the place and much less experience. You should hear him read his essays, however. Put the audience in front of him, and adds another dimension, like his audiobook Live at Carnegie Hall. These are not aligned or Zingers as can be expected in stand-up comedy.
